Just wanted to relay to y'all my pet peeve of the moment. It seems to have been happening more frequently at work, and it has been driving me crazy (crazy? I was crazy once....sorry, couldn't help it). I have to fill out charts as part of my daily routine. That doesn't bother me at all. What does is the current trend of my pen failing me. No, not just that, but how it continues to find it's way back to me so that I can once again be frustrated. It is almost as if there is one specific pen that doesn't work, and somehow it keeps getting back in the pen jar.
Yeah, I know what you'll say, "Sean, throw the thing away!"
Sure, that makes sense, but you must realize by now that I don't think that way. I'm the vacuum guy who will go over the same crumb continuously until it is sucked up or I give up. I refuse to use the huge amount of time necessary to just bend over and pick it up by hand.
Back to the matter at hand. Just wondering if anyone else has such tribulation at their workplaces. I'm very near declaring all out war on that pen (and all its relatives) and lighting it on fire the next time it finds me. I don't care if it sets off the fire alarm.
Whew, thanks for letting me get that off my chest.
